Converted 2019 this 19th century barn set in idyllic setting, with panoramic views over the valley towards Skelton Castle. Lane End cottage is ideally situated a mile from the Victorian seaside spa town of Saltburn, with its pier and vertical tram and 10 mins by car from the ancient market town of Guisborough. You can choose whether to stay and relax, walk, mountain bike or book a game of golf and with the North Yorkshire moors and coast only a stones throw away Lane End cottage has it all! The space Lane End cottage is an ideal retreat for couples looking for a relaxing or romantic break. Set within Stonecroft Lane end farm. The cottage has vaulted ceilings and is finished to a high standard. An open plan well equipped kitchen/ diner and lounge offer a relaxed and sociable space. The main bathroom has a separate shower cubicle and boasts a stunning slipper bath and waterfall tap along with an overhead skylight to see the stars whilst you relax after a day out. The en-suite room with king size Louis style bed and walk in double shower has a boutique feel . The second bedroom is light and airy with two skylights and a vaulted roof this can be either twin beds or a king size to suit your individual needs. There is a gravelled area with seating to sit and enjoy the morning sunshine and the lovely evening sunsets. Outdoor lighting means you will love to sit out and watch the swallows and barn owl sweep across the sky. There is also a second area on which you can enjoy a picnic and take in the panoramic views across the valley, with the occasional visits to the fence from our rare breed sheep and free range chickens, along with Rosie the duck. As the nights draw in, there is a beautiful inglenook fireplace with oak beam mantle and log burner to snuggle up next to. There are a range of books and games to keep you entertained, along with a large smart tv in the open plan kitchen/ diner/ lounge and also TV’s in the bedrooms. A leather suite with reclining features and a leather rocker chair make it easy to relax. There is designated parking for two vehicles, in a courtyard setting. An EV charger is available on site for additional charge. Other things to note Babies and children are welcome although we don't provide a travel cot or have specific safety equipment etc. Chickens and ducks are free range around the property. Guests are not permitted to charge electric vehicles from the cottages house supply without prior permission and recompense. We feel this is only fair as you wouldn’t expect hosts to provide petrol or diesel free of charge!
