In Piton-Saint-Leu, in the gentle heights of the west of Reunion Island, at an altitude of 320 m, Fleur de Canne is an independent studio furnished with taste and comfort. It is located in the lower part of a well-kept garden where litchis, mangoes, coffee trees, banana trees, avocado trees, palm trees and bougainvilleas grow. It has a pleasant terrace (furnished with chairs, sun loungers and a dining table) open to a superb view overlooking the ocean. The space The place is quiet and only 1.5 km from the heart of the village. All services are within walking distance (post office, bank, supermarket, tobacco/press, church, doctors, pharmacy, gas station, Chinese shops, hairdressers). On the day of your arrival the owners welcome you, the bed is made, all the linens, freshly ironed, are at your disposal. Extra set of sheets/pillowcases: 18.00 euros. Set of towels (large and small): 5.00 euros. This service is free if you stay 28 nights or more. The minimum rental time is 10 nights. The capacity is two people. A security deposit of 300 euros is to be paid at check-in. The exit cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant: 40 euros The security deposit is returned within seven days. Other things to note The studio faces the sea. 10 minutes by car, it is halfway between the lagoon of Saint-Leu, whose seabed is the richest on the island, and the beach of Etang-Salé-les-Bains with black volcanic sand. Saint-Leu, a seaside town with a family atmosphere, is renowned for its sports activities: legendary "left" surfing, unforgettable scuba diving, paragliding departures. Saint-Leu is also the agricultural museum of Stella (5 minutes away), the Botanical Conservatory of Mascarin (30 minutes by the picturesque CD13 located 50 m from the rental) and Kélonia, a sea turtle farm. Saint-Pierre (30 min) with its marina and its waterfront avenue offers a beautiful atmosphere. 60 km from Piton are the recent lava flows, Cilaos is 50 km away and Piton de la Fournaise is 1.5 hours away. Going north along the "route des hauts sous le vent" which crosses a beautiful tamarind forest at an altitude of 1700 m, you will reach the Maïdo peak, whose panorama of the Mafate cirque is breathtaking.
