Carl Vrooman's Suite - Vrooman Mansion

This three-room suite is comfortable and spacious; it can easily host two single guests, a family of four, or a small group of girls for a weekend getaway. The bedroom reveals a high back burl-wood-posted queen-size bed, an ornamental fireplace with rich undertones, and north and east windows. The adjoining private sitting room – complete with a queen-size sofa bed and Carl Vrooman’s writing desk – is the perfect place to forget your “to-do” list. The sitting room features a large window seat overlooking the picturesque grounds. The suite offers views of the shaded gardens, the maple and oak trees, the original Carriage House, and the Lincoln Oak Memorial. The private attached bathroom features a pull-chain toilet as well as a claw-foot slipper tub with a hand-held showerhead. (Note: If you prefer standing to soaking, please select one of the rooms with a walk-in shower or shower/tub combination.) The space This bed room has a queen-size bed with an attached private sitting room with queen-size sofa bed and private attached bathroom with claw-foot slipper tub and hand-held shower wand (not a stand up shower). Guest access The first floor of the Main House has approximately 3,000 sq feet of space that can be accessed. The porches and grounds are also available and a wonderful place to relax. During your stay We are a working bed and breakfast. Therefore, we do have staff available throughout the day and evening. Other things to note Breakfast is included in your stay. This is a plated meal and served to you at your pre-arranged time between 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Please notify us in advance of any dietary needs or allergies. Please note that taxes will be due upon arrival. Taxes, which are separate from Airbnb room charges and service fees, are not collected by Airbnb. Taxes that will be due are city and state taxes.
