This newly renovated house is located across the street from Lake Watawga in Gouldsboro, PA. It sits within a beautiful private community that offers tennis courts, basketball courts, hiking trails, fishing, a playground, and a private beach for guests. You’ll find peace and quiet during your stay at our lake house. It’s still a family-favorite get away for holidays! Master bedroom: Queen bed with luxurious private gas fireplace, big screen tv, and Juliet balcony; Plenty of room for a blowup mattress; Private access to master bathroom. Master Bathroom: Jacuzzi tub and separate stand-up shower Bedroom 1, 2, & 3: Each have a queen bed and storage space for luggage Full bathroom: Tub with hand and shower head combo Dining room: Private dining area with seating for 6 people Living room: Open concept with different areas for reading, watching tv and movies, playing PS3 or board games; Gas fireplace makes the space especially cozy on chilly nights Kitchen: Fully stocked kitchen for cooking for 2 or 10. Nespresso (bring your own pods), coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc. Screened in porch: Perfect spot to enjoy the foliage, heat your towels before hopping in the hot tub, or take a nap! Deck: Equipped with hot tub, propane grill, and outdoor dining set Outdoor space: Backyard, front yard and 2 car garage stocked with 3 kayaks and 1 rowboat. In addition to the many amenities of the house, guests have access to the private community’s tennis courts, basketball courts, fishing docks, and private beach. There are also hiking trails through Gouldsboro state game lands. One of the best things about the Poconos is how beautiful it is during all of the seasons. Whether you are watching the beautiful fall foliage, warming up by the fireplace after a day on the slopes, smelling the spring flowers from the hot tub, or sitting on the private beach on a hot day, this house and private community is the perfect get away any time of the year! There is plenty of parking in our large driveway and garage. Guests can walk to the lake and other private community amenities. Grocery stores, restaurants, bait and tackle shops, churches, etc. are all a short drive away. There are also several state parks, ski resorts, indoor water parks, and large public access lakes near by including: Gouldsboro State Park: 4 miles Kalahari Indoor Water Park: 14 miles Camelback Ski Lodge & Water Park: 20 miles Lake Scranton: 20 miles Lake Wallenpaupack: 21 miles Jack Frost Big Boulder: 25 miles Dogs are not allowed on the Lake’s beach but can swim from other locations along the lake. This is a private family-friendly community NOT a party house. This is a very quiet community and noise complaints have been a concern in the past. If during your stay, we (the host) receive a noise complaint there will be $100 deduction from your security deposit. However, if you are looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing stay - this is the place for you and your family. The house is NOT located ON the lake. Renter must be 25+. Winter weather advisory: our home is located on the top of a steep driveway. If possible, it is ideal to have a car with four-wheel or all-wheel drive. We will do our best to accommodate with plowing but we cannot control the weather during your stay.
