It is a quiet neighborhood. The apartment has solid Wifi. The TV has a Mohu Leaf antenna which picks up 16 local/regional channels. There is a Roku streaming stick on the TV for guests to stream their services. The living room features wood floors, a large, comfortable sectional sofa and chair. There is a desk for remote work. The unit has a good amount of storage space, which is convenient for longer-term guests. The house is on a corner lot with ample parking, with one off-street parking spot in the back driveway, first come, first served. The space is an upstairs unit and is accessed by stairs at both the front and back entrances. It is bright and spacious with picture windows overlooking the park. Tennis courts, new skate park, pool, two playgrounds, two ice rinks, trails, and disc golf all within walking distance! Literally, right across the street. For those traveling with kids, or who like a daily run or walk it is an ideal location. My neighbors are nice and I know all of them. It is a quiet neighborhood; a mix of older folks and younger families buying the homes and renovating them. Mainly owner-occupied homes with a sprinkling of rentals. Bismarck has good coverage from Uber and Lyft. Parking is no problem at the house if you bring vehicles. There is also local taxi service via Taxi 9000. An Uber or Lyft to or from the airport should run about $15, roughly half that to downtown or the district around Laughing Sun Brewery. This location is very conveniently located in central Bismarck. Hillside Park across the street has undergone a massive capital improvement program in the last few years. It is the largest open space in central Bismarck, with almost all of the amenities new within the last few years. It is within easy walking/biking distance of downtown in warm months and is centrally located, making rides on Uber and Lyft very affordable.
