The location is central to everything. Public transportation within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants,bars, yoga you name it, within your reach. This is perfect for a short stay or long/term. This house was completely renovated from top to bottom less than a year ago. It looks old, but everything is new and fresh. Top of the line appliances, including new washer and dryer for your use. PLEASE NOTE: WE CHARGE $35 EXTRA FOR USE OF SOFA BED IF YOU HAVE 4 GUESTS OR LESS. Our 4 guest included charge assumes to beds upstairs used. Our Airbnb rating relies on proper communication and accuracy with guest counts and reviews. If you have an issue during a stay that would result in anything less than a 5 star review, we expect you to message us regarding it. It it's not important enough for you to make us aware, we will be disappointed that you lay it out in a review. We have a lot of properties and a team that soley runs these and puts forth their best to make our houses your "homes"-please respect that and realize that little things like bringing in extra guests without notifying costs our housekeepers and extra hour of work to flip extra beds. We get that things happen, just please inform us. Each member of our team has families of their own and work 7 days a week as schedules dictate. Majority of our guests have been amazing, but we have had a few really rotten ones and it isn't fun to deal with. We aren't kidding when we say we would rather have a vacancy than crabby people :). The LL is unfinished, but has a full size washer and dryer for guest use -other than that, there is no reason for guests to be down there and we kindly ask that you refrain from exploring :) The only reason you can stay at our house is because we aren't here. However, our amazing friend is on-call 24/7 to guide and assist you as needed. We will be messaging you to check-in, please respond This home is located in an upscale Birmingham neighborhood a mile from downtown, which has the feel of a big city with shopping and fabulous dining. Walk to downtown and easily reach anywhere in the Detroit metropolitan area. A quick 25 min from Detroit Metro Airport. Easy to use public transportation or get an Uber or Lyft car. We recently had a guest rate us less than 5 because they didn't feel we accurately informed them that there is traffic in the city and on a busy road, this is one out of our control and one thing we naively assumed everyone understood when driving in the city:( use caution when pulling into our driveway and please do NOT back out into traffic, but use the large drive area to turn around and safely exit the property. You may see a spider, an ant, a favorite Michigan “stink” bug”, in extreme cases, yes, perhaps a field mouse. Please, contact us if it’s an infestation; otherwise, it is normal. We will not offer any refund for siting of such. Fees and number of Occupants: PLEASE NOTE: Our base price with 2 guests assumes use of one bed, if you have 2 guests and use 2 beds, we will send a fee request for $40 after booking.
