Quaint Garden Suite 3 Blocks From City Park

Not an entire home, apt., nor just a bedroom! It’s a sweet, suite - bdrm, bthrm, living rm, & front porch! Private street access - no alleys, backyards or steep stairs! Lovely jog to City Park, downtown is just a few min drive or a lovely 45 min walk. Museum of Natural History & Science, Denver Zoo, City Park Golf, just a few blocks away. Nat'l Western Complex is a 5 minute drive, Botanic Garden, Elitch Gardens couple miles away. 420 friendly, porch only. Tobacco is prohibited on my property! The space Your private suite includes a bedroom, bathroom, & living room, as well as the front porch for “front porch sittin”! In nice weather you can start your day on my lovely front porch and enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a glass of wine at the end of your day! On chilly nights enjoy the comforting warmth of my toasty fireplace and watch a movie while eating dinner on handy TV trays. Centrally located, easily accessible, and close to everything fun in Denver! Your bedroom has a smart desk, dresser, and comfy reading chair. There are handy hooks with hangers to keep your clothes in order. The bed has a comfy full-size mattress. The attached bathroom and shower are small but sufficient! A white noise machine to comfort you at night is on the nightstand. Keurig machine & selection of coffee & tea, small frig, microwave, filtered water as well as an iron and ironing board are provided. Street parking is always available around the corner, but no parking is available in front of the house. Please watch for street sweeping restrictions on E. 28th Ave., and throughout the city, April through November! Just on the other side of the French doors is where I live. My perfect retirement home! To conserve energy, I keep my house on the cool side, 65 - 68 degrees - but the fireplace keeps the living area toasty. There is a space heater in the bedroom that can be used in the bathroom, as it tends to be cooler than the house. Please don't use it anywhere else! Final note: WEAPONS ARE NOT WELCOME IN MY HOME. It is your private space during your visit! Other things to note The daybed in the living room IS NOT FOR SLEEPING! Do not plan on this as a 2nd bed - there is one bed in the bedroom for sleeping. Both guests should plan on sleeping in the bedroom. I am up at around 5:30 a.m. most mornings. The plants on the front porch need water daily so do expect to see me tootling around out there early in the morning and in the garden during the day! I try to be quiet but you may hear me rumbling around the house - old house squeaky floors & doors! Joy, the dog & Jaco, the cat, live in the house but do not have access to your room while you're visiting. Joy barks when startled, but is not a chronic barker and she's a love!
