For your vacationing bliss is our newly-built, high-design round house situated on 5+ private acres with its own creek, waterfall, pond, expansive decks, and hot tub. It's close to two cool towns filled w/ great food, art, music, wineries, breweries and endless outdoor sport options, but you won't want to leave..there's no other spot like it on Earth. With soaring cathedral ceilings, panoramic windows & gorgeous views, you'll be transported into the surrounding beauty around you! The space A perfect refuge for couples as well as big groups of friends, families and retreats, this unique living space is designed to transport you outside when you are inside with a rounded wall of eight enormous windows that bring in the surrounding beauty of the creek, magnificent meadow, and pristine rolling hills from every direction. For a small additional fee, we also offer a separate cottage for extra space/privacy (listed as BR 4 in the photos). Our gourmet kitchen is open to the living room so the vacationing cook is part of the action....and from our enormous, wrap-around deck, you can hear the waterfall and year-round creek which borders the property. This quiet valley and home is yours...whether you are in to cooking, walking, reading, star-gazing, watching movies, playing games, or sitting by the fire, you can find it all here: huge spa, cabinets filled with family-friendly games, outdoor fire place, BBQ, & super fast wifi. Soak in the warmth of our hot tub while being serenaded by the sounds of song birds, crickets, frogs and beaver drawn to our pond and you’ll get a taste of how sweet life can be... After just a day in this magical spot, you’ll feel renewed and ready to explore the incredible outdoor and culturally-rich Gold Country with two beautiful, historic towns full of hip bars, speciality chocolate shops, fabulous restaurants, wineries/breweries, used book stores, arts festivals and concerts. The area is also renowned for mountain-biking & hiking trails galore, fly-fishing, bird-watching, whitewater rafting, sailing, golfing, skiing, and swimming in the wild, gorgeous, sparkling waters of Yuba River. If you're a history buff or just enjoy stepping back in time, explore the old mines, old railroads, old digs, and beautifully-preserved architectural delights of Nevada City and Grass Valley that date back to the the 1800s Gold Rush. Beds/accommodations/cottage: the roundhouse has 2 ground -floor bedrooms with queen beds and two full bathrooms. Upstairs is a large open loft with its own skylight and 6+ beds accessed by a stylish spiral staircase (if you need dark or quiet, sleeping downstairs is a better option). For a small fee and upon request, we can open up our newly-renovated barn/cottage that sleeps 6 just steps from the house, ideal for large families/groups of friends, or retreats. Pls ask for details if interested in adding the cottage. Guest access You have the entire house, huge hot tub and over five wild acres of land with its meadows, pond, creek and waterfall to explore. If you have a big party, or upon request, for a minimal additional fee you can have a barn/cottage (for the kids, in-laws or friends) to play in as well. Other things to note 1. For remote work, we have very fast fiber optic WiFi, desk, plugs and TESLA Batteries backing up the entire house so you will always have electricity! If you need your own private work space, ask us about the cottage. 2. We just renovated our barn/cottage which is a separate structure with its own AC/heat, TV/wifi, kitchen/bath. Please ask us for details on the fee (fee is small but depends on size of your party) 3. Our Level 2 EV charger is available to guests upon request (ask for details) 4. There are new/additional beds, chairs and other furniture over time that are not reflected in photos. 5. The waterfall and pond are seasonal and run from very lightly to very heavily depending on weather and the county's water needs, neither of which we control...
