Fully equipped modern kitchen (updated recently) with loads of bench space, induction hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Master bedroom (upstairs) has a king bed and access to the main deck, semi ensuite bathroom. Second bedroom (upstairs) has a queen bed, one single bed and a fold out single bed. Downstairs bedroom area opens onto another deck with outdoor table and chairs. This room has a queen bed, small kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and smart TV. There is a bathroom on each level, upstairs is semi ensuite, both updated recently. A third toilet (also updated) with full size vanity unit upstairs. Huge internal access garage includes laundry with washing machine and dryer, plus beer fridge/freezer. There is an outdoor clothes line with pegs. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water for when you return from the beach. Room to park a boat. The internal access garage has a comfortable king bed if the bedroom configuration doesn't suit. The garage has garage carpet and blinds. Maximum of eight guests at any one time. The house is across the road from the beach, shops, cafes, Cadera restaurant/bar, surf club (patrolled in summer) and Mahy reserve and playground. There is a surf school at nearby West End. Walk to secluded Otarawairere Bay or the nearby Fairbrother Loop at the bottom of Ohope hill. Nearby is the Nga Tapuwae o Toi and Kohi Point walkway from Ohope to Whakatane. Ohiwa Harbour with boat ramp, fishing, water sports, kayak, SUP and e-bike hire is a ten minute drive away, as is the Ohope golf course. Whakatane is a six km drive away over the hill with restaurants, cafes, shopping, movies and boat ramp. Whakatane Aquatic Centre to entertain the kids if the weather is wet. The local berry farms serve amazing ice creams and have strawberries for sale. Julians Berry Farm has a childrens zoo and pick your own strawberries. Take a tour boat trip to Whale Island (Moutohora). Rotorua, Tauranga and Mount Maunganui are a one hour drive away. House to be left neat and tidy and ready for the cleaner.
