The Elkwood Inn is a warm rustic mountain lodge with a homey comfortable country feel 2 miles from Elk Mountain Ski Resort. It has 8 bedrooms each with private baths. There are many places to sit and work on a laptop but not in the rooms. There are window air conditioners available on an as needed basis or upon request, but are seldom needed. At this time, I am booked for the entire ski season though...sorry. Guest access There are 4 large screen cabled TVs and fiber WIFI available, and smaller tvs in the rooms with vcr/dvd players and a large collection of tapes and DVD for in-room viewing. There is a gas grill on the back deck that can be used as well. There are 2 wood fireplaces, 2 LP fireplaces and 1 electric fireplace for use. The LP fireplaces require knowledge of the appliances for use. If wood inside is used, it should be restoaked from the supplies outside before leaving.
