Farmstay, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 10). Mahaanui Quarters is a self-contained, private, basic accommodation - located in the beautiful Tiniroto, half way between Gisborne and Wairoa (approx. 50 minutes driving either way). The Quarters is fully furnished - with 3 Bedrooms which can sleep up to 10 people in total, and 2 Bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with basic cooking provisions such as flour, sugar, tea, coffee, spices, oil, etc. With everything you need, it really is the perfect place for friends and families to have an enjoyable and relaxing country break. Or perhaps an active farm experience. We encourage you to go walking over the 614 hectares of farmland during your stay, or venture over to the scenic Hangaroa River or Doneraille Park – both only minutes away. So whether it be to walk, swim, kayak, fish, picnic, cycle or just relax with a book! We invite you to take some time to join us and enjoy the picturesque scenery, explore the farm and experience our country way of life. All backpackers and travellers are welcome. There is the option to share accomodation for a daily rate per person (email inquiry only) or rent the quarters completely. There is a cleaning service available should you not want to clean the house on your departure. Linen available for $10 per person per stay which includes sheets, duvet, pillow, towels and flannels. Alternatively you can bring your own. All beds have mattress protectors.
