Blackbird Cottage is a delight inside and out. Tastefully decorated with comfort in mind, your room has a queen bed, desk, and sitting area along with a private bath by the door. The common space shared with 2 other rooms has a kitchen and dining area with books, games, and a coffee and tea bar and a washer and dryer. Located on 9 wooded acres which includes 1100' of Carson Creek, two waterfalls, a garden with a koi pond, and is within walking distance of an overlook of the Columbia River. The space Parking is located above the house. The entrance is accessed via a set of rustic garden steps that will take you down to the house (please see photos to ensure you feel comfortable with these). The sliding glass doors on the deck are the entrance taking you into the common space shared with 2 other rooms. The common space has a kitchen and dining area, as well as a bookshelf with a mini library, games, puzzles, and a coffee/tea bar and there is a washer/dryer in the hall. Located on 9 acres, feel free to sit by the creek, walk to the waterfalls, check out the garden, sit by the koi pond, take advantage of a photo opportunity on the side of the shed, or walk to the overlook of the Columbia River. No animals allowed (allergies). Guest access You're welcome to explore the land, we have 9 acres which includes a garden, koi pond, goldfish pond, two waterfalls, trails along the creek, and a hike to The Camas Patch, an overlook of the Columbia River. This listing requires taking uneven garden steps down to the entrance. See photos. When parking, you do not need to worry about blocking the driveway or the tiny house. You can exit the way you came in or the driveway in front of the tiny house will loop back to the main drive. During your stay I live downstairs and Airbnb the upstairs.
