Our4400 square foot private vacation retreat invites you to relax by the pool, fish on the river, explore, and take advantage of all the local sites to see. Create special memories reconnecting with nature and each other. Our spacious modern ranch style home is located on a private peninsula providing guests with ample outdoor and indoor space. Our home has 4 private bedrooms, including 2 large Master Suites and plenty of closet space. In addition, there is a sitting room, a well-stocked kitchen, a dining room with fabulous views, and three bathrooms. All the furnishings have been selected with comfort and convenience in mind. Below are more specifics of what our home has to offer: Living room: The expansive living room features vaulted ceilings and a rustic fireplace. The wrap around couch provides ample seating for guests to visit or relax after a long day exploring the Nature Coast. The widescreen TV is equipped with cable, Roku and complimentary Netflix access. Bedrooms: 3 of the 4 bedrooms have access to the pool and deck area. • Master Bedrooms: The 2 master suites, with ensuite bathrooms, include a king-size bed (linens provided) and television with cable and Roku. Private office space in each master allows for sending quick emails or updating social media. • Bedroom 3: This tranquil room has plenty of natural lighting and sliding glass doors leading to the pool deck, a queen-sized bed, and a television equipped with Roku. • Bedroom 4: From the two twin beds, guests have a perfect view of the pool and deck as well as access via the sliding glass doors. Bathroom: The main bathroom also doubles as the pool bath, giving guests access from the pool deck as well as from inside the home. We provide linens and basic toiletries. Kitchen: The modern kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances and utensils making meal prep easy and convenient. Feel free to use the cabinets and pantry to stock up during your stay. Dining area: The large dining area features a six-person dining table with gorgeous views of the grounds. You can also bring the card table and chairs in from the Florid room to seat an additional 4 people. Florida Room: This room is designed to provide extra activities, like ping pong and board games. The sofa bed sleeps 2. Additional amenities: • Large screened-in pool area with a spa (unheated). • Outdoor deck with BBQ and table with 8 chairs, and 3 lounge chairs • Fully equipped laundry room; washer/dryer, iron and ironing board The sofa bed in the library sleeps 2 Your comfort and privacy is our top priority. If you are in need of any assistance or have concerns, I will be readily available throughout your stay. One of your hosts will be in touch before your check-in to give you the most up to date door codes. Otherwise, we are available by phone and will only be by to monitor general property management. Lagoon Haven is totally secluded. It is off a quiet, dead-end road and backs onto the water. Inverness is a quiet town with great diners, shops, restaurants, and festivals. It is in the middle of the Nature Coast and boasts beautiful State Parks, hiking, and biking trails. Citrus County spans all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, so you can also enjoy beautiful Crystal River and Homosassa for swimming (even swimming with manatees at the right time of the year!). The area requires a vehicle and feel free to bring your kayaks. If you are trailering a boat, there are a number of public ramps nearby. It is about a 15 minute trip to town for some great restaurants like Stumpknockers and shopping. Known as the "Manatee Capital of the World," Citrus County is home to the Homosassa and Crystal Rivers - both spring-fed and perfectly clear at their source. Manatees gather in these waterways, particularly in the winter months. Three Sisters Spring often attracts hundreds of these gentle giants. A number of state parks, archeological sites and wildlife management areas make Citrus County a gem of the "Nature Coast." If you enjoy living in the lap of luxury, privacy, and natural beauty, be sure to stay with us in your private nature retreat. There are a number of natural springs, state parks, hiking & biking trails and historical sites within a 15 to 60 minute drive. We do have lawn care at the property regularly; they may come by sporadically during your stay. The pool deck is lighted at night by wall sconces and solar torches, there is no pool light. Our pool maintenance crew visits each Wednesday. Please leave the pool enclosure doors unlocked to allow them to keep the pool sparkling! For safety and security, exterior Ring Cameras are installed pointing away from the house.
