Casa Vaquero, built 1933 from timber milled locally. Walking distance to downtown Wrightwood; minutes from Mountain High Ski Resorts. Large open plan bedroom upstairs; sleeper sofa downstairs + loft up top. Sleeps 4 adults + two kids (or 1 more adult) in loft. Fully stocked kitchen; BBQ on deck; Fenced dog yard with doggie door. It can be a ski chalet or a writer's retreat. We bought this when we were in our 20's (a long time ago) and we have rebuilt it to be a beautiful and solid cabin. Elevation is at 6100ft. We have recently installed high speed internet and a 48" Roku TV with streaming channels and a selection of DVD/VHS for both film buffs and families (Note: There is generally good mobile service at the cabin, and fun coffee shops & pubs in town with wi-fi and live music at times). Lots of board games and books to savor if you get snowed in!
