This is the ground floor apartment of the Simonelli Guesthouse. It is in a wonderful location within walking distance to the island’s bests bars and restaurants and the main beach. This newly refurbished historic Block Island apartment sleeps 6 guests with 1 Queen Bedroom and 2 Twin Bedrooms. Enjoy this prime location for biking, beach and downtown exploration. This guesthouse has an older charm but has undergone lots of renovations. This unit offers 1 Queen bedroom with a full bath. 2 Bedrooms with 2 Twin Beds and another Full Bath in the hallway. The kitchen/living area has access to a large back porch and grill space. Guests have access to a spacious yard, grilling area, and an outdoor shower. There is a front porch and a back porch dining area. **Please note this is a guest house with multiple units and it is not possible to rent the entire house. We do a meet and greet since all guests must be registered. Always available for any questions or concerns. The island is very small and we are set back off the main road just enough to have privacy and tranquility while being within reach of everything town has to offer. A five to ten minute walk in either direction and you can reach the beach, the most popular bars and restaurants and the center of town. Bring your bikes and walking shoes! The island also has bikes, mopeds and mini-cars for rent. There are cabs and driving tours available as well. Please let us know if you are bringing a car. One car allowance/ family. **Quiet Hours are at 10pm. Please be respectful of this. The bars are a short walk away. Go out, have fun and be loud there not here. **This is a non-smoking home. Smoking is permitted outside only. Please be responsible and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. We do not allow pets. **All guests must register upon arrival. Any non-registered guests on the property will be cause for eviction, no parties or gatherings. The space can only house six guests and we do not allow air mattresses. **Excessive trash and cleaning will incur additional fees. We are striving to be an eco-friendly property. This is a long term project but we are beginning the transition simply by using eco-friendly cleaning products, biodegradable soaps all in compliance with COVID cleaning regulations. All natural landscaping technique striving to conserve water and electricity. We have a small but expanding organic food and herb garden, and hope in the future to make the entire property a green living space! The island is also undergoing these changes and recently banned plastic bags and balloons and built an offshore wind farm to supply clean energy. We simply ask that you keep this in mind on the property by shutting off lights, conserving water, and properly recycling and composting. Proper bins will be provided. If you have any questions about recycling or composting please let the host know. Please donate excess food to the food pantry.
