Rental unit in Fletcher

The Hilltop Den is the terrace level of our guest cottage nestled on 10 mountainous acres. Beautiful mountain views often include a stunning sunset (weather permitting) here on the property. We are private and relatively secluded, yet less than 10 minutes from I- 26 and Asheville Regional Airport. The Den is a great hub for exploring Asheville, Hendersonville, the Biltmore Estate and surrounding mountains. The space is cozy, efficient and clean. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, INSIDE AND OUT The space The Den is the private, lower level unit of our guest cottage nestled on top of a small mountain. The apartment is simple, but hospitable. The studio kitchen has limited appliances and is more of an efficiency style (no cooking or baking). There is a sink but no dishwasher, range or oven. The bathroom is clean and functional. The bedroom is spacious with a queen bed. There is a portable heater and also a heating blanket, if needed. For warmer months, there is air conditioning from the living room unit and fan provided for bedroom. There are also ceiling fans in both living room and bedroom. Please note, the unit above the Den is our second Airbnb unit, called Hilltop Perch. We do ask that you mind the noise levels as we ask your above neighbors to do the same. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, INSIDE AND OUT Guest access The entire downstairs apartment is for your use only. You may also walk the property, lay in the hammock or walk the trails. Please know you may be sharing the property (outside only) with other Airbnb guests. We have 2 dogs (Parker and Lucy) that roam freely. While they are friendly towards people, they are not towards other pets. If they are a nuisance, or are of concern, please let us know in advance and we'll be sure they're leashed or supervised. Other things to note We have a long, steep gravel driveway however, AWD is not necessary unless we've had snow. On those occasions, we do have a plow and will make every effort to make access convenient for you. We've been known to porter guests up and down the mountain :-) During the summer months, yard maintenance takes a fair amount of our time. We'll make every effort to be mindful of your stay and keep the noise to a minimum. Wildlife is frequently noted on our property. Turkeys, ground hogs, deer and the occasional bear may make an appearance.
