Apartment in a listed mill on the Swabian Jura
Our apartments in the idyllic village of Kirchen (Ehingen / Donau) are on the edge of the Swabian Alb biosphere reserve. Whether you are hiking, climbing, exploring caves, canoeing, cycling or mountain biking, flying (kite, paragliding, gliding), swimming, experiencing nature and culture, or simply wanting to unwind, the Swabian Jura will inspire you. The upper mill was built in 1689 and belonged to the nearby Zwiefalten monastery. Until the Second World War it was used as a grain mill, then as agriculture. The mill wheel was Century replaced by a turbine, the Mühlbach flows in the meantime underground through the property. The entire ensamble of the building and barn is a listed building, and the house was completely renovated in the 1990s and 2010s. With its massive walls, the building creates the ambience of a country castle. A false ceiling was installed in the former mill hall, creating living space on two floors. Here are the apartments today. We live in the former miller's apartment. The holiday apartment "Fräulein Müller" has a large, bright living / dining area with an open kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet on approx. 85 square meters and is suitable for four people. The apartment is on the first floor and can be reached via the main staircase with an open spiral staircase. Please also note our apartment "Mühlbach" - Property number # 2692790 There are dogs and bees on our property, allergy sufferers should take this into account. The apartment is only rented as holiday apartments, not as a mechanic's apartment or long-term rental
