This modern light filled 2 bedom eco-house with open plan living area offers spectacular everchanging views down the valley and across the sea to Kangaroo Island. The house stands alone on 2.5 acres. Secluded and private country property with 'walled' secret garden, olive grove, orchard, native and exotic trees. Generous living area with polished wooden floors throughout, a cook's kitchen and floor to ceiling glass doors. The main bedroom opens onto the deck and the garden beyond and the stars above. Enjoy the outdoor shower (hot water!), under the sun or stars (yes, there is also a shower in the bathroom). Watch the wildlife - native birds, kangaroos, maybe an echidna and a family of hares through the floor to ceiling picture window. Gas barbecue Please note- we don't have a washing machine at the house. 90 mins south of Adelaide GPO 5 mins to Deep Creek Conservation Park 10 mins from Cape Jervis and Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island. A short drive to Morgans Beach, Second Valley and Rapid Bay beaches. Experience the scenic walk (or the 4wd drive) to the surf and popular fishing spot at Blowhole Beach. Discover the varied walks within Deep Creek Conservation Park with its stunning coastal scenery, or explore beyond to Tunkalilla, Waitpinga and Parsons Beaches along Range Rd towards Victor Harbor. Visit the beautiful Raywood Nursery growing and selling exotic and native plants 5mins away on Tappanappa Rd, with a 1000yr old Grass tree (Xanthorrhoea sp.) growing next to the carpark! Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thai takeaway 5mins drive down the hill. We have a dam on the property, which may or may not have water, so parents with young children will need to supervise them at all times.
