The main house features fantastic indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, large bedrooms and wrap around verandahs. The house is perfect for large family gatherings or groups of friends. Whispering Pines is not a party house - please. Hens and bucks parties are also strictly prohibited. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Please note: - Upgrades are ongoing to this beautiful property, but everything is true to the photos which are kept current and accurate. - Also note that contractors may sometimes visit during your stay to feed cattle and / or attend to other property maintenance issues - generally always away from the house. Where will I be? Whispering Pines is a rural property located in Far Meadow, about eight minutes drive south of Berry, where you will find award winning restaurants, shops and cafe. Drive six minutes towards the coast and you will find yourself at the famous Seven Mile Beach Gerroa. Why choose Whispering Pines? Whispering Pines is a perfect rural retreat but with modern comforts. Ideal for two or three families, a group of friends, or a girls' getaway weekend, you will not find a better holiday home than this spacious six bedroom property on acreage, with swimming pool and firepit. How is the property laid out? The main house is a single level property with six bedrooms; the master Queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom has views into back garden, walk in wardrobe and TV. Bedrooms Two, Three, Four and Five are all spacious Queen bedrooms, with hanging space and TVs. Bedroom Six has two single beds, and a TV. There are three bathrooms; an ensuite, main bathroom with a huge corner bath looking out over the lush green garden, frameless shower, double vanity plus toilet, and the third bathroom (in original condition), with shower, toilet and basin. There is a modern farm style kitchen, and the living/dining area is spacious, open plan, light, airy, clean and fresh. There is a dining table to seat 12, large wrap around couch, remote control gas fireplace and a hallway nook with a library of books. WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV - will I have it? Whispering Pines has complimentary NBN Wifi and login credentials will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Whilst generally reliable, we cannot guarantee WiFi at this property and no compensation will be paid for failure of WiFi service. If internet is critical during your stay, please have an alternative device. What about outdoors? Whispering Pines is set on 20 lush level acres. Lush green lawns surround an inground, saltwater pool. The pool has a glass fence around it and there is an entertaining area with two sun loungers, outdoor table, umbrella and BBQ. There is also an undercover patio that surrounds the property with benches to sit on and take in the view and a paved area with a firepit. Staying warm or keeping cool? The main house has reverse cycle air conditioning throughout and a gas fireplace for the cooler months. What about sheets, towels and other supplies? Sheets, pillows, blankets or doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel! Parking for cars, boats etc? There is off street, open air parking for five cars on the driveway at the front of the house. Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? Whispering Pines is a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules: Outdoor dogs only. Part of the yard is fully fenced. Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately Wildlife Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon. What are the minimum stay rules? - Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property - Easter: 4 nights - Long Weekends: 3 nights - All other times: 2 nights Are there any special Summer Season rules? Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
