Moonridge Mountain Retreat

Nestled in Moonridge, our 3BR/2BA home presents incredible access to Bear Mountain & Snow Summit resorts, Big Bear Lake, the Golf Course, the Zoo, and the Village. The home sleeps up to 5. Sorry but NO PETS. Please also note per Big Bear Lake laws, an in-person check-in is required and they are strict on max occupancy requirements. Note: You may need chains during the winter months. We recommend checking the weather and road requirements before driving. The space Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Moonridge, our Moonridge Mountain Retreat is an ideal 3BR/2BA haven for your mountain getaway. We've put a lot of love into our family cabin and it has returned the same to us. We hope it also provides you with a great mountain escape. Our cabin is just 3-5 minutes from Bear Mountain resort, the golf course and the zoo. Add on only 3-5 minutes more to be at the Lake, Snow Summit Resort, or the Village. A stroll down the neighborhood street is a nature walk unto itself. Walk only 5 minutes to the beautiful national forest to enjoy miles of hiking and mountain biking trail. During the snow season its not uncommon to see kids sledding down the small banks of Sand Canyon directly across the street for hours of fun during the snow season. The home has a great living area with vaulted ceiling's, 2 bedrooms and one full bathroom upstairs and 1 bedroom and one full bathroom downstairs. The wraparound forest-view deck is surrounded by trees and has a BBQ and outdoor dining table. **Please note, during snow season months the outdoor dining table and BBQ will be unavailable for use.** **There is NO garage access. Please see "Other details to note," for a few additional items.** Photos were taken in 2021. Please expect normal wear and tear over that time period. Furniture and furnishings may be different than pictured as items are replaced and updated. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire home (less an owners closet), the outdoor spaces and driveway parking. Guests will NOT have access to the garage. Other things to note Guests will NOT have access to the garage. If you are coming during snow/ski season Nov 1 - April 30, it is highly advisable to carry chains. It may even be required by Big Bear Lake & Cal Trans Laws. We pay for a driveway plowing service for your convenience, however, the road and entry to the driveway can still be icy even when freshly plowed and you may need chains to access. Further the service is not daily but they do their best following big storms. Conditions can change dramatically and quickly up in the mountains, and we make no promises, we suggest you check weather regularly and prepare accordingly. This is the case for the entire mountain.
