King of the Cross- 4 bedrooms

Whether you are in town for business, pleasure or just passing through, you will be comfortable in this fully equipped 4 bedroom home within the Cross - Southern Cross that is. Southern Cross was named after the star constellation that was the guide for the founders. As you roam around town, you will see that all the streets have been named after stars and it really does have that good old country hospitality. Explore Southern Cross during the day and in the evenings you can either make use of the fully equipped kitchen, outdoor bbq or even head to one of the 3 pubs in town for dinner and a drink and to meet the locals. Our guests are our priority and all 4 bedrooms and the lounge room have been recently renovated for your comfort. They are practical and of course - look good. But don't worry, there is still plenty of character in the house! Heating and Cooling The living room has a solid wood heater and wood is provided for you to light the fire during the cold months. Each bedroom also has an electric heater. There is ducted evaporative air conditioning with outlets in the living room and two of the bedrooms. The two other bedrooms have their own air conditioner installed. This property is in town so you can either walk or drive to the shops or pubs. KITCHEN - Fully equipped, oven & cook top, microwave, pots and pans, toasted sandwich maker, kettle and toaster. PANTRY - You will find tea, coffee, sugar and condiments. The pantry also has basic everyday items such as salt, pepper, cooking spray, foil and plastic wrap. If you are staying for a few days please check the pantry before you shop as you are welcome to use what we provide and is there. We kindly ask guests to replace any of these items if you use the last of them as a courtesy to future guests. LOUNGE - There is a TV on the wall above the fire place and a small bluetooth stereo for you to listen to either the local FM radio or bluetooth your phone and listen to your own music. BBQ - Guests will be responsible for cleaning the bbq after use. BATHROOM - Shampoo, Conditioner, Liquid soap and a hairdryer are available for your use while you are at our home. Make up remover pads, cotton buds and wipes are also in the bathroom. For guests staying longer than one week, you can request a clean and bed linen change for a charge of $30/hour. Our cleaner lives locally and is happy to do this and you can pay her direct. If you choose not to, there is of course a washing machine for you to wash your own linen and towels during your stay. Laundry liquid pods are provided. I thank you in advance for looking after our home. Note: Prices are based on 2 people sharing a room. The standard rooms opened are as follows; 1 or 2 people booked - 1 room open 3 or 4 people booked - 2 rooms open 5 or 6 people booked - 3 rooms open 7 or 8 people booked - 4 rooms open If additional rooms need to be unlocked there will be an extra charge of $25 per room (per stay). Guest access This is a self check in property and the door code will be provided to you at noon on check in day via a message through Airbnb. Check in time is anytime after 3pm and check out time is 10am on the day of your departure. We can be a little flexible with both check in and check out times if there are no guest bookings immediately before or after however you will need to request this the day before your arrival or the day before your departure as the case may be, for confirmation of availability.
