Self contained accommodation in a private house, own entrance and courtyard. Quiet cul-de-sac, walking distance to rail station to Brisbane city and to local shopping centre. 5 min drive to beaches, swimming lagoon and alfresco dining. Room has security bars, double bed size, (not Queen), choice of pillows, table/chairs, smoke alarms certified compliant, flat-screen TV, and shared use of pensioner WiFi. The kitchenette has sink, food prep area, portable hotplate, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee, tea. Separate prestigious bathroom for your exclusive use, with toiletries, towels, hairdryer, scales, iron & ironing board. For the elderly or less able: safety rails on both toilet and shower, and a shower chair. No air-con but usually unnecessary as room is on cool side of house with pedestal fan, and heater available in winter. We regret that as a simple guest room it is not suitable for pets. Before booking please note our check-in times are between 2pm and 8pm. If this does not suit your itinerary please do not apply. Outside these hours service is not available, and prospective applicants should consider elsewhere, say with a night counter arrangement. We have a single off-road parking space for a small/medium size vehicle. Guests must apply for this facilty.
