Beautiful village house in Alt Empordà

This old village house, freshly renovated in 2021, is located in the very heart of Rabós, just below its Romanesque church. It develops on three levels. On the ground floor, a wide open space with fully equipped kitchen, generous dinning room and cozy living room with chimney. On the first floor, a suite with balcony and bathroom. On the second floor, a suite with open bathroom and a terrace with a stunning view over the village, the surrounding vineyards and the Natural Park of l'Albera. The space Rabós is a beautiful and quite village of approximately 120 regular inhabitants. It's surrounded, on one side, by olive groves and vineyards supplying the 5 local wineries that produce excellent natural wine and, on the other, by the wilderness of the mountains of the Natural Park of l'Albera, crowned by the French-Spanish border. The Orlina creek flows borders the village, with water streaming down the mountains to create natural pools, where swimming is possible in spring and early summer. The seaside is just a stone's throw away, with beaches reachable by car in only 20' and the most amazing coves in Cap de Creus Natural Park just a bit further away. The hikes around Rabós, both inland and around the coast, as well as the roads and trails in this area, will satisfy even the most demanding hikers and cyclists! Guest access The house can be reached by car although, ideally, the best is to park at the 2 parking spaces located at the edges of the village, once the load/unload has taken place. They're both at walking distance, the lower one being closer and therefore, more convenient. There 's a shop in the village that opens daily from 9 to 13 (Thursdays off, Sundays open until 12) and provides a little bit of everything. It is at a short 2 minute walk from the house.
