Cozy Comfort in Winter Enjoy the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace and relax with a glass of wine on the expansive decks overlooking the lake. The lodge is fitted with four heat pumps in the main house and one in the cottage loft, ensuring your comfort through the cooler months. Location & Surroundings Situated in a sheltered north-facing bay, the property is protected from south-westerly breezes. A private jetty allows your boat to remain safely moored in all weather. Or, take advantage of charter boat pickups from your doorstep for a scenic trip to the exclusive Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools – accessible only by water. Evening visits to the pools offer an unforgettable experience. You're just a 30–40-minute walk via Okere Road and footbridge to the iconic Okere Falls Store, known for its café, bar, scenic waterfalls, and trout pools. Activities & Equipment * Kayaks, rowing dinghy and life vests provided * Fly-fishing during the permitted season from your jetty or the nearby Ohau Channel outlet (20-minute row; licenses and your own equipment required) Accommodation (Max 12 guests) Main House: * 4 bedrooms * Stunning lake views from the lounge, master bedroom, guest suite, and decks Cottage Loft (Optional Extra): * 2 bedrooms with bathroom * Additional fee of $70/night (must be added manually to invoice after booking request) Please note: Rates are based on up to 8 guests in the main house. Extra guests (up to 12) are welcome at $30/night (2-night minimum).
