Private Yosemite Getaway at Pine Mountain Lake

Newly renovated private chalet cabin set back 100 yards from the main road, nestled amongst the pine trees, and above a gentle creek that winds through the property. With its sunken living room, open air loft, retro decor, and large wrap around deck, our place is perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway, or as a launching pad to explore Yosemite National Park which is 25 miles away. Located less than 1/4 of a mile from the main gate, allowing easy entry and exit to the subdivision. The space There is a one time fee of $50 per car upon arrival at the main gate (this is a requirement per Pine Mountain Lake HOA). You will receive an orange access pass which will give you access to all amenities; marina parking (guests may only park in the lake marina on weekdays), pool (open to renters), tennis courts (by reservation) etc. This permit is good for one week. We give a lower nightly rate to offset some of these extra charges. We have a mini-split air conditioning unit on the main floor, and cooling/heating unit in the upstairs bedroom. We run on a septic tank, so please do not flush anything but toilet paper and water, as the plumbing may back up. Guests are not permitted to use the fireplace, chimney has not been maintained and is not safe to use. A large wrap around deck provides plenty of seating and is perfect for barbecues, dining outside, an early morning cup of coffee, and cocktails at sunset. The deck is set above the creek, where you can listen to the peaceful sound of running water as you enjoy your natural surroundings. (Creek usually runs from December until June) Our kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and blender. Our beds are very comfortable with high quality linens and pillows. We also provide one very comfortable queen sized fold out futon. Couches in the living room are very comfortable and can also double as sleeping areas. We provide various classic board games, decks of cards, WiFi internet, a large flat screen television with netflix. amazon prime, youtube, and streaming services. Our home is a short and flat 15 minute walk to the main marina at the lake where you can rent kayaks, go swimming, or take a ferry to the three other beaches on the lake. As a guest, you may park in the marina lot on weekdays, but must park on the street on weekends. There is a community pool (which is closed due to Covid at this time), archery center, equestrian center, and tennis courts which are all included in your stay. There is also a lush 18 hole golf course, and plenty of hikes in the beautiful surrounding hills. The grocery store (MarVal) and main strip in Groveland is a 2 minute drive away. Enjoy drinks at Iron Door Saloon, (the first bar in California, established 1852), gourmet dining at Pine Mountain Grill on the golf course, go antique shopping, have delicious Mexican food at Cocina Michoacána, or a fresh cup of coffee at Fire-fall Roasting Company. Our home is a great launching pad to Yosemite as we are located a quick 25 mike drive from the west entrance into the Valley. From the west entrance, it is another beautiful 25 minute drive to the Valley. Enjoy beautiful waterfalls, the sheer granite faces of Half Dome and El Capitan, and surrounding Tuolumne Valley. Guests are asked to limit their WiFi usage to 10 GBs per day. Groups that exceed 10GB on any one day will be charged $20 each day this occurs, and this will be deducted from your deposit. We recommend streaming video in Standard Definition (SD) as this uses ~1GB per hour rather than in HD which uses ~3GB per hour.
