Thairn boasts a wood-burning stove to ward off the chill and is a fabulous feature to return to after a day exploring the many historic Abbeys, gardens and houses of the local Border towns. The property is all on one level with easy, level access to from the car park. The views are wonderful from the pretty cottage garden. Come and wander through the surrounding fields and riverside from your cottage, or just sit and relax while admiring the wonderful rural views and amazing birds in the cottage garden. Thairn cottage has an extra-long King size bed. Please ask about an extra single fold away bed or travel cot which can be situated in the living room or bedroom Thairn cottage has it's own private, south-facing conservatory overlooking the cottage garden with views towards the Cheviot hills. We supply plenty of homegrown wood for the wood-burning stove. EV charging and reliable Wi-Fi are free for our guests to use.
