JoMo Retreat on the Withlacoochee River!

JoMo property, a gem by the Withlacoochee River's side, where nature's beauty and tranquility coincide. A guest house just a stroll away from the canal's embrace, leading to the river, a serene and peaceful space. Canoes, paddle boards, and kayaks await, to explore the river, a water lover's favorite. World Equestrian Center and Rainbow Springs are a mere twenty minutes away. JoMo offers a nature-filled stay. Escape the hustle, in nature's embrace, at JoMo property, find your tranquil space. The space The Guest house is close to the entrance gate and is located on the west side of the property. It is separated by a wooded area from the main house and is a short walk to the river. There is a canal that leads to the main river where you are able to take the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards out for an adventure. Your boat or horse trailers are also welcome. There is plenty of room to park them. Guest access Guest can access the area surrounding the guest house, the nature walk and the entire area by the river. Stay to the right of our house and you will see the kayaks and canal. We also own the north side of the island between the canal and the river. Please stay away from the bridge and south side of the island. It’s owned by the neighbors not us. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Other things to note The gate to the property closes quickly to prevent pets from escaping. Keep moving thru gate as it opens We have chickens that free range around our house. Publix will deliver to the house thru online Instacart . You can also get food delivered via Uber Eats or Hungry Howie's pizza for a fee. Best things to do 👇 It’s not just about the manatees 🤯 (even though swimming with them is an absolute must!). There’s so much more to explore, and these are my top must-do experiences: 0️⃣ Swim with Manatees (of course!): It’s the only place in North America where it’s legal to do so! I went with and recommend Hunter Springs Kayaks & Tours 1️⃣ Float down the beautiful Rainbow River @ Rainbow Springs Stare Park. You can rent tubes right at the park and the also offer transportation to the drop in point. 2️⃣ Go Scalloping: Search the warm Gulf waters for scallops and feast on fresh ceviche right on the boat Paddletail Waterfront Adventures 3️⃣ Catch a magical underwater mermaid show at Mertailor. They make tails too: Mertailor Mermaid Tails By Eric Ducharme 4️⃣ Take E-Bike Ride Withlacoochee State Trail: Rent a bike right next to the trail at Select E-bike 5️⃣ Kayak: Glide over glass-clear waters on a kayak tour to Three Sisters Springs with Kacey's Custom Adventures 6️⃣ Go Duckpin Bowling at The Train Station: Get your game on with vintage-style duckpin bowling in Inverness. They have pizza too! 7️⃣ See the Animals at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park 8️⃣ Visit the Crystal River State Archaeological Site: Explore ancient history at the sacred ceremonial mounds. 9️⃣ Explore Inverness: Pop Into the Coastal Heritage Museum, discover street art, Elvis nostalgia, and local boutiques in downtown Inverness. 🔟 See Monkey Island: Wave to the cheeky spider monkeys on quirky Monkey Island from a kayak or nearby bar.
