Pets ( see rules ) The space This is an "Antique Home" from the 1930s with many original doors, door knobs, a re-finished antique floor, and exposed brick walls. It's original charm and chic styling is for those who appreciate the beauty of such things. If you're looking for a brand new house this may not be your best choice, but we love it. The upstairs has 1 bedroom 1 bath, living room, dining room, & kitchen. The basement has 1 bedroom with marble floors which is accessible by traversing through the industrial-style basement laundry/utility room with open ceilings exposing the floor joists above. Pet Friendly ( flexible - see rules ) This home is filled with love and charm. Comfortable, Functional, Stylish, Unique, and fun! It is professionally managed and cleaned, so you can expect CLEAN, TIDY, and AS DESCRIBED. The living room in the front has a very cool & authentic hand-exposed brick wall that runs through the kitchen and into the master bedroom in the back. It has some eclectic furnishings and unique lamps and lighting. The couch is a cool tufted fabric piece. You'll find a smart TV with Netflix connected and reliable High-Speed Internet for your use. The open floor layout on the first level allows the kitchen to flow into the living room nicely. There is a dining table and a AC unit mounted to the window between the kitchen and living area and an additional AC unit in the upstairs bedroom. The home has central heating. The thermostat is in the stairwell. The bathroom is next as you pass through the kitchen and as you look in you will see its immediate charm. It has a small vanity and chandelier lighting. It has a cool clawfoot soaking tub with a curtain track. Rain Shower from the ceiling above! Please note the claw foot tub lip is about 2' tall so you have to be able to step over the tub edge to enter. When showering be sure to keep the curtains inside of the tub so you don't get water on the floor. Otherwise, feel free to remove the curtains and soak in the bath after a long day of adventuring! The bedroom is at the back and has a king-size memory foam hypoallergenic mattress that you will sleep like a baby in. Remember, all bedding is washed between every guest as we have a professional housekeeper (watch out for listings with no cleaning fees or super low ones) so you know that the homeowner isn’t running a lint roller over the linens because “it looked alright”. We provide basic coffee, but there are a number of walkable coffee shops nearby. Disclaimer about the 2nd bedroom 1 Queen - 1 Twin This bedroom is comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable and will sleep two - 3 well. It is located DOWNSTAIRS, you have to descend the steep staircase with a handrail (watch your step), and you do have to pass through the unfinished laundry/utility room to get to the back bedroom. It's cooler down there in the summer and warmer in the winter. The ceiling is industrial style with/ an unfinished industrial look with some cool hanging string lights. It has a natural wood lapboard paneling and a free-standing wardrobe closet. The floor is a black and white checkered marble. There is some storage space down near the dryer where you can store your gear such as your ski equipment and bikes. The living room on the main level also has a pull-out sofa bed which is only a twin as well and clean bedding for it is provided but you have to pull it out and make it up yourself so it'll be a sofa still when you arrive. Please treat our beloved home like a respected friend. In prep for checkout please be ready to do your own dishes by hand and not leave them caked with food in the sink along with your cooking pots and pans. The housekeeper should be able to focus on general disinfecting, mopping, vacuuming, and washing all the linens. Please respect us and our cleaners & do your best to leave the property in as close to the condition as you found it. Thank you for your understanding on this we feel like it’s best to be transparent on what we’re looking for. Because there could be a gap from when you depart to and the housekeeper comes we ask that you dispose of all your food items and all your garbage in the outside garbage cans in the back by your Off-street parking. Thank you!!!! Guest access Entire Unit - South Unit of Duplex. The other 1/2 of the property is also an Airbnb. Two parking spots out back. There is plenty of street parking out front. IF YOU HAVE A LARGER VEHICLE LIKE A FULL SIZE TRUCK OR VAN, the parking back there is tight and you may have to park on the east side front street Standard and compact cars and SUV's will fit fine in the back though. Be careful entering and exiting so you don't hit the neighbors fence (see checkin instructions) Other things to note Please enter the unit from the back (this is where the parking is for your vehicle). You will see the step by step instructions on the "checkin instructions" section which will give you step by step photos to make it easy. If you are local you MUST message BEFORE booking. This is a SELF CHECKIN property and is equipped with a cloud cam for us to monitor who is coming and going, so please be on your best behavior and only book if you have read and agree to our strict house rules and terms. Utah is a high desert climate and as such there are house ants, occasional harmless spiders, or Box Elder bugs that are usually seen more during seasonal changes such as going from winter to spring or vice versa. As responsible hosts, we have agreed to a pest control contract with Uintah Pest Control to service all our properties. Sightings are rare, but are possible. An occasional sighting is not considered a reflection of the cleanliness of the property. When showering in the elevated clawfoot tub please keep all curtains inside the tub as to not flood the floor.
