Secluded mountain cabin on 35 pristine acres with a wonderful view of Pike's Peak as a backdrop. Spring fed pond on the property and plenty of space for hiking, exploring, wildlife viewing as well as sledding and snowshoeing in the winter. Sleds, snowshoes are not provided. Elk Spring cabin has lodge decor with many handcrafted furniture pieces. Large windows in the living room to take in the view of trees and Pike's Peak. It offers seclusion yet minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. The space You will have the entire home to yourself. It’s in a perfect location providing seclusion and views yet only minutes to restaurants and stores. Guest access The home is on 35 acres which you are welcome to explore and hike! Please be aware that there is another vacation rental on the property about 800 yards away and not visible from the home. Please respect the privacy of the guests at the other rental as they will yours by not driving to or approaching the other home on foot. The entire property is fenced so please do not trespass onto our neighbors property by crossing any barbed wire fences. The property has some steep terrain and a few shallow, old prospectors mining pits so please use caution when hiking the property. Other things to note We provide just about everything you will need for your stay: linens, towels, blow dryer, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, large selection of spices and some condiments. The kitchen has a toaster, blender, griddle, ice maker, waffle iron and microwave. There is a binder at the home which gives you information on the home, TV and Hottub instructions as well as information about things to do and phone numbers for emergency situations.
