Casona de Labrada is located in a small village called, Labrada, between A Pontenova (Lugo) and Taramundi (Asturias). It is right in the heart of the popular Eo river, Oscos and the Tierra de Burón Biosphere Reserve, which was recognized by UNESCO in 2007. The EO Estuary is a Site of Community Importance (SCI) and Protected Birdlife Reserve. This region is home to ancient traditions, such as artisan knife making. It is worth visiting the various foundries, smiths and forges to find out what life was like in this privileged area in past centuries. There are many hiking trails to enjoy.
