The basement is located in the hottest chic-urbanized neighborhoods in DC. The home is renovated and provides three bedrooms one which was initially a large study (now setup as a 3rd bedroom) and one bath basement apartment. The space Please don't lower your expectations, this apartment will not feel like a basement. During the renovation, I took my time to create the most comfortable unit possible and you can trust that I have included the most modern and comfortable furnishings and amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The apartment is 1200 sq. ft and can easily accommodate one to eight people. One of the bedrooms has a Queen Bed and One has a Full Bed and One has a Twin bed, and a reading chair. There can also be an inflatable mattress for additional guests too. There is a full sized washer/dryer and detergent provided for your laundry needs. During the summer there is plenty of seating, plants, vegetables and herbs grown outside in the garden patio. There is also a rooftop terrace with exceptional views of the city for a nice evening night cap (availability varies). The apartment is a dedicated rental during the entire year and can be booked months in advance. You will get your money's worth when choosing this listing as not even a hotel can compare. In the event you will be arriving to D.C. early, I can work with you to drop your bags off prior to the beginning of your stay. There is a rooftop terrance that is accessible upon request. All of the fixtures and appliances in the unit are new. We will notify you if early check in is possible after an inquiry. Other things to note There are detailed instructions of nearby attractions and house "how-to's" such as entry passcode, wifi connectivity, operating washer/dry and achieving the right temperature. -If you are a super-sensitive to noise, please note that I do reside in the main house however, the floor/ceilings are well insulated. -Although the home is on a busy street in the city, there is plenty of FREE street parking just be mindful that it may not be directly in front of the house. -The unit is centrally located in the city and the FREE street car stops at the end of the street so you can hop on and experience the tourist sites or walk to the super markets and restaurants like a true Washingtonian. -Early bag drop off/pick up is an additional $15 charge.
