Our character house is located on the edge of the village Cailhau. Cailhau is a very scenic village in the middle of the Malepère vineyards and also known as France Toscane. The views of the Pyrenees are spectacular. We are well located in the center of the Cathar Country near the medieval city of Carcassonne, the City of Mirepoix and many other medieval sites and the Cathar Castles. Also the Canal du Midi is very close for a visit. Even the Mediterranean Sea with its oysters and crustaceans as well as the mountains are to be discovered. The decoration of our character house is a modern country style and is suitable for a maximum of 8 people. The house has 3 bedrooms with ensuite and in each bathroom there is a walk-in rain shower, wc and sink. The kitchen is well equipped with all comforts such as a dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining room with wood stove and a living room with a flat screen TV and a DVD / Blu-ray player. Each bedroom has a large double bed (160cmx200cm) and in 1 bedroom is an additional single bed. There are several private terraces, including a sheltered one, a very large private swimming pool (12mx6m) and a gas bbq.
