Private townhouse near PA Capitol

A restored 19th century townhouse awaits as your home away from home in Harrisburg's Old Fox Ridge Historic District. The space You will have exclusive use of a fully equipped two bedroom historic house located adjacent to the state Capitol complex in Harrisburg's burgeoning Midtown district. Reservations are not generally available more than six weeks in advance. If you are interested in booking future dates of a week or more that are shown as "not available" on the calendar, please email me and ask. There are two large bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. There is also an office which can be converted into a bedroom with a full-sized futon. If there are four or fewer guests booked and you wish to have the office made up as a bedroom there is an additional one-time $25 charge. If more than four guests are booked, the office is made up and the additional guest charges apply instead of a separate charge. Guest access Full access to the house and use of the kitchen and laundry facilities. Keyless entry programmed with the guest's birthday, since everyone remembers the month and day they were born but sometimes not the year. Other things to note It is worth noting it's parallel parking on both sides of a one way street so you might want to brush up on that skill if it's not something you do regularly. And please don't take up more than one space or the neighbors will mutter. One residential parking permit is provided which will allow you to park in Zone 2 Green. Enforcement is aggressive, relentless and a parking ticket is $30. The parking permit's expiration date MUST be visible -- can't stress that enough. Additional permits are available for a $20 fee.
