The following description and pictures are intended to give you a first impression of our ecological holiday accommodations, which are built entirely of straw and clay. Our gardener's house is a straw bale house consisting of a single large room and can be booked from 2 nights. It sleeps 4 persons only. The house is not heated. Size: 16 m² Guest access The gardener's house is located in the Wangelin Garden, a natural herb, show and teaching garden in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Here you can relax, stroll and enjoy nature. As guests, you have the opportunity to use the Wangelin Garden throughout your entire stay for only 1x entrance fee. The Wangelin Garden offers various events throughout the year. Seminars, workshops, action days, guided tours, concerts, exhibitions, markets, readings, herbal courses - you can find out what is going on with us on the website of the Wangelin Garden. Our garden café is open from April to October from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm and offers a range of culinary specialties with a focus on herbs as well as homemade products from our factory. The room is furnished with a 2-story bed (sleeping area 160 x 200 cm + 140 x 200 cm), an extendable table, chairs and a wardrobe. The shared sanitary facilities (toilet + washroom) are located at the back of the holiday rooms 1-5, approx. 30 m away, in the sanitary container behind the kitchen and, if necessary, additionally in the clay house of the Wangelin Garden, approx. 80 m away. Towels and linens are included. Since it can get very dark here in the countryside in the evening, a flashlight is useful. In the immediate vicinity is the Wangelin Garden, one of the largest herb gardens in Mecklenburg. It has grown into a special place since its foundation and is enriched by sustainable, natural buildings, including the gardener's house.
