A welcoming, light and airy, stylish and comfy house in one of Melbourne's most exciting multicultural precincts. Great base for a visit to Melbourne. Only 5 km to the CBD with excellent public transport. In a quiet safe street with Melbourne's best restaurants & cafes a short stroll away. Bike paths, universities, hospitals, the zoo, Exhibition Buildings, Melbourne Museum all a short tram ride away. A choice of playgrounds and parks nearby. The space This house is bright and airy. We have established it as we would like to find a house that we rented ourselves - comfortable, clean, modern, good quality and ample kitchen equipment, great outdoor area with barbecue. The bedrooms are very comfortable with good quality beds and bedding. The main bedroom has a bay window with a day bed. You can see glimpses of the city from here so is particularly nice at night and it is nice and sunny in the afternoon. This bedroom also has a TV. The other bedroom upstairs has great views over eclectic, multicultural Brunswick toward the Dandenongs. All bedrooms and the study nook have black out blinds for children and others who are light sensitive. The sofa bed is located in the study nook upstairs. It is Italian made and very good quality that will assure you a comfortable night's sleep. During the day it doubles as a quiet living space for getting away. The street has lovely federation and edwardian houses, and is quiet and safe. Parking is available straight out the front and is there is no time limit on it. A comprehensive visitors guide is made obvious in the house with brochures of many of Melbourne's gems as well as recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing near and far in Melbourne and further afield in Victoria. One bedroom and one bathroom on ground floor to suite people who don’t like stairs Guest access The house is totally yours. If I need to come into the house for any reason I will contact you first. Other things to note Reverse cycle air conditioner/heater service downstairs. The remote for this is on the back wall right under the unit. An evaporative air conditioner services upstairs (controls on wall near the standard lamp). This type of air conditioner needs a couple of windows open upstairs. Heaters are provided in the bedrooms in case they are needed. Mohair blankets are kept on the beds for extra warmth in winter if needed.
