Description

Lovingly furnished nurdach house with a large garden, surrounded by the wonderful nature of the Palatinate Forest, offers silence and relaxation. If you're looking for a place where you can recharge your batteries and unwind, from where you can go on hikes or culinary excursions, or just spend the day in a beautiful atmosphere with a book or watch the night in the starry sky, this is the place for you. The space On the ground floor of the house is the living space with a pull-out sofa bed, the dining area and the wood stove, which you can use on cool evenings. There is enough wood in the wooden shelter. The gas oven can be optionally added in the cold season. If you want to work on the go, there is also a small desk that is integrated into the living room. Via the Wi-Fi and the smart TV you have access to the media libraries of the public channels. In the kitchen you will find a ceramic hob with four hotplates and an oven, fridge, dishwasher, French press and espresso pot, toaster, kettle, bread slicer, high-quality pots and pans. The bathroom with shower tub, sink and daylight is also on the ground floor. From the living room you enter a terrace facing south. You have sun all day long. To give you shade, a large umbrella is available. Additional sun loungers are available in the garden hut. From the ground floor, a steep staircase leads up to the upper floor, which consists of a single large room. There is a double bed with a size of 1.80 m x 2.00 m, which consists of two single 0.90 m wide, high quality mattresses. Another bed on the opposite side of the room measures pulled out 1.60 m x 2.00 m. This can also be used as a single bed (0.80m x 2.00m). My nursery has been rented since 2016 and has been given a new face over the years: The upper floor has been completely newly expanded. The walls that have separated the now large single room in two halves are removed and a new wooden floor has been laid. The bathroom and kitchen are completely renovated, including new water pipes. The kitchen has been expanded in such a way that 2-3 people can now comfortably work in it at the same time. The ground floor on the ground floor is completely rebuilt, ecologically insulated and a wooden floor made of oak floorboards has been laid. Due to the terrace renovation and extension, a new connection to the garden was created and to the outdoor seating area with the flame cake oven and the barbecue. The holiday village of Eichwald offers the ideal location to explore the German Wine Route, the southern Wasgau, the Vosges and Alsace. From here you can get in on numerous hiking and biking trails that will take you past rock massifs and castle ruins of bunt sandstone, wine-growing villages and nature lovers' houses that invite you to stop and taste wine. The wine-growing area captivates with its southern ambience. Mountain bike buddies and climbers will also enjoy themselves. A city walk through Annweiler, Landau, Bad Bergzabern and Wissembourg with their historic city centers is always worthwhile. There are also many variety and excursion destinations for holidays with children: the paddle pond in Hauenstein, Berwartstein Castle, many castle ruins with exciting history at all, an adventure ralley at the castle Fleckenstein, as well as a visit to the Silz wildlife and hiking park, which is even within walking distance. The ice cream parlor in Klingenmünster with the delicious Palatinate ice cream should not go unmentioned here. The holiday village itself has not been commercially operated for decades. The cottages are privately owned throughout. Some are used as holiday homes and are rented, others are reserved for the owners as a holiday home, others are inhabited permanently. This mix also makes the charm of the village. Despite the same construction of the nurdach houses, a colorful diversity and creative individuality is visible. The holiday village is a wonderful place in nature. Directly from the house you start in the hiking trails. The area is very varied and invites you to explore. At night, it's as quiet as you barely know it. Only the little box can then be heard calling. The lanterns go out at 11 pm, so it is dark enough to see the stars shining clearly (there are flashlights in the house ;-) Nevertheless, the surrounding houses give you the feeling that you are not alone. A perfect place! Other things to note I would be happy to welcome you to my little cottage in the Palatinate Forest! It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the silence of nature. I can't always be there when you arrive. Then I will let you know all the essentials about your arrival and the key handover here via the platform. In the house itself is then the "house book". There, all the important things ( e.g. operation of the fireplace, the flame cake oven, garbage separation, compost, Wi-Fi - password... ) are accurately described and partly also illustrated with photos. The house book also contains the house rules of the holiday village. Please follow the rules! An important rule is to do without an open fire in the summer. We are in the middle of the forest here and the forest fire risk is just too great. I'm asking for your understanding here. Bed linen and towels can be provided for 10€ per set. In the heating period from October to April, an additional €5 per day is charged for heating, which must be paid locally. The price of 80€ per night is for up to 2 persons. Each additional person costs an additional €10 per night Other people must be specified directly at the time of booking. Oil, vinegar, spices, and various herbal teas are in stock. Also toilet paper. Please just buy it when it runs out. There is a small library in the house with novels and crime novels. If you're interested in something and you can't finish reading, just take the book with you. In case of uncertainty or further questions, I am easily accessible by phone or call back within a very short time. Important for dog owners: Dogs are not allowed upstairs. If your dog can sleep alone downstairs, then he is very welcome.
