Black Bear Ridge is a charming 2 BR/2BA cabin located within a 24 hour gated community in beautiful Wears Valley. This cozy cabin is nestled in a tranquil mountain setting away from the mainstream hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. The rustic charm is perfect for a true mountain getaway! We are Dog Friendly! The space 🐻Upon entering the cabin, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware and cookware to whip up your favorite meals. The living area has a gas fireplace, large screen TV and sleeper sofa. 🐻On this main level, you also have a bedroom with a king size bed, TV, bathroom with a relaxing jacuzzi tub. *Please Note: this bathroom has a vanity, toilet and jacuzzi tub. There is not a shower.* From both the bedroom and living area, you have sliding glass doors that open up to the main level back deck, perfect for those who enjoy relaxing in nature. On this deck, you also have a gas grill and outdoor dining. 🐻Once you make your way to the lower level, you will find an open area with a full size pool table, set of full over queen bunk beds and TV. The washer and dryer are tucked away in the closet on this level. You will also find the 2nd bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The hot tub is located on the lower level deck, waiting for you to soak your cares away. ⛰️ The cabin is located in a mid-mountain area. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding the driving conditions or resort information. 🏊🏼 Pool Access: You have pool access at the resort's pool from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. (Good weather may extend the closing date of the pool.) 🛝Playground Access: There is a playground in the resort as well. This is open year round for your convenience. 🐶 We are Pet Friendly! We ask that your dog is 40 lbs and under. We do charge a pet fee of $75. You are responsible for picking up after your dog and will be responsible for any damages during your stay. The community also offers a dog park! We KINDLY ask you keep your dogs off the furniture & beds! There will be an additional charge if we find dog hair/fur IN or ON the sheets, quilts & blankets! 🏔️**If you are planning to visit during the winter months, I strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance to protect your stay, in the event of emergencies or weather related events!** Guest access This is a private cabin and you have full access. Other things to note The cabin is located in a 24 hour gated community, Shagbark. Shagbark requires your vehicle information. Prior to your arrival, I will get that info and get you registered. Shagbark will email your barcode for entry prior to your arrival. You can always reach out in case you haven't received it before your check-in time. Just want to mention that we do have filtered well water on the interior of the cabin. The exterior is plumbed differently for the hot tub. You may notice some sediment from time to time in the bottom of the hot tub. The hot tub is drained, sanitized, refilled and chemically treated after each stay. Should you have any questions, please reach out to us! 🚫SMOKING OR VAPING IS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE CABIN! IF YOU SMOKE INSIDE THE CABIN, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $300 TO HAVE THE CABIN TREATED. 🚫NO ILLEGAL DRUGS OR UNDERAGE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY! ❗If you encounter any issues, please notify us immediately! We take great pride in providing each of our guests with a 5 star experience. ✅You are provided with a start up of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. This is usually enough to get you through the 1st night of your stay. You are responsible for providing any extra items you may need for the remainder of your stay. To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety for every stay, we provide a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, and dinnerware) but do not stock shared pantry staples like oils or spices. We recommend bringing your favorite ingredients to tailor your meals exactly to your liking! 🐞 Ladybugs are protected in the Smokies, so pest control services are not an option. The National Park Service released millions of Asian lady beetles into the park to fight a tree-killing insect, so the Park Service won't allow spraying specifically for ladybugs. We often see them in the fall when we have cooler weather. They are attracted by the sun as they are looking for warmth. ⚠️I would highly recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance during the winter months. It is for your protection in the event of inclement weather and you are unable to travel. Please keep in mind the cabin is located within a mountainous resort. During winter months, it is advised you drive 4WD or AWD in the event of inclement weather conditions. 🐶 We are Pet Friendly! We ask that your dog is 40 lbs and under. We do charge a pet fee of $75.
