Shanks' Cabin is quaint and quiet - perfect for those looking to unwind without the distractions of urban life. Spend time just relaxing among the towering pines or use it as a base camp to explore Yosemite National Park. The space This charming cabin in the woods is perfect for a small family or up to 6 guests - situated next to a seasonal creek, surrounded by majestic pine trees and oaks for an ultimate country experience. Conveniently located in between two entrances into the park the Arch Rock Entrance and the South Entrance. Either way takes less than an hour drive. Enjoy the well-appointed kitchen with all the cookware and serving ware to prepare a lovely meal. Start your day with a warm cup of coffee with our 12-cup automatic drip coffee maker and coffee grinder. If you are in the Barbecuing mood, a propane grill is available for you to use on the deck - we provide the propane. Relax in the outdoor area and take in the serene sounds of nature and the flowing seasonal creek. For entertainment, the cabin has a Smart TV ready for streaming through Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Hulu, etc - be prepared to sign in with your own accounts. Wifi with ample speed is available for your convenience. A washer and dryer is available for your convenience. One full bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body soap so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. After a long day of adventure, soak your tired muscles in our well-maintained hot tub, serviced after every set of guests. Finally, lay back and fall asleep on a cloud-like memory foam mattress so you can have energy for another day of fun! Guest access The guests will have access to the entire house. Other things to note We are happy to provide pet friendly accommodations! We allow house-trained dogs, but with some rules. First, it’s an extra $100 for the stay. Should you book, we will send a separate request for the fee, which you will find in the email registered with Airbnb. Further, we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by the dog.
 Second, please keep your dog in a crate if you leave the dog alone in the house for an extended period of time to avoid accidents in the house. We do not provide dog crates so please bring your own - along with a nice blanket and toys :)
 Third, please clean up all dog waste in the yard. We do not supply poopbags, so please have your own supply. We are happy to accommodate your pets! Our standard pet fee applies to up to two dogs (1-2). If you have more than two dogs, we can consider it on a case-by-case basis, with an additional fee.
