Positioned between King Charles Quay and the adjacent Custom House Quay, from which Packet Ships departed destined throughout the British Empire. Darwin returned to Falmouth, news of Trafalgar came ashore, and Florence Nightingale stayed in it, and Lord Byron departed from its harbour. Sea views from all windows on both sides allow you to watch the hubbub of yachts, tall ships, ferry boats, cruise liners and more. A short wander brings you to all amenities. Falmouth is ideal for touring Cornwall with a short drive to Lands End, Tate Gallery at St Ives, surfing beaches on the North Cornish Coast, Minack Theatre, Lizard peninsula, World Heritage Mining sites, Flambards Theme Park and The Eden Project.
