We know that you are viewing a million postings, trying to find the best place to stay for your trip to McCall. We aren't going to bore you with words like stunning, spacious, must-see, blah, blah, blah...but we will tell you that this is a newly constructed home that we built for comfort and an anti-cabin feel. We designed it to love and use for ourselves but also to share with you. The space The space Our living space is for just that…living! Have fun in the great room where you can kick back, nestle in the couch, look at the mountain-y outside through our tall Pella windows while deciding what you are going to do in the great outdoors of McCall. We have one TV with surround sound located in the family room, record player with vintage vinyl, Blu-Ray player and Wifi for any of your streaming needs. Fun solid wood, round dining table that can double as a poker table or take some time to do a puzzle. The kitchen is set up for you to cook at home, well equipped and with an induction stovetop. (Although, we do have a gathering of local menus if you want to eat out… but you’re on vacation…who wants to cook, anyway?) Our favorite is making coffee and sitting at the counter just before take a walk into town to have breakfast. Lets talk about bedrooms! When you walk into the entry (1st level) we have a huge bedroom with the two double beds and a bathroom, plus a walk-in closet for your belongings while you stay. Walking upstairs you will enter the living room/open kitchen/dining area with an open hallway to the remaining bathrooms and bedrooms. First of which, is the master bedroom with its own private deck and be sure to check out the touch of “Idaho” in the third bedroom. Durable concrete floors in the entrance and lower level, allows you to dump off your snowy boots, coats and skis without worry. Ditch your outerwear on the unique pipe hooks just inside the door. We can fit 2-3 cars in the driveway but there is no parking on the street, if possible. We are located about 5 minutes from downtown McCall on your way to Brundage Ski Mountain, which is just 15 miles to the north of our house by turning right onto Highway 55 straight from our Boydstun Ln. home. Famous Shore Lodge is 3 minutes away and we joke that you can drive to Shore Lodge but walk home if you have one too many of their signature cocktails. Our new home is in an older part of McCall proper but our neighborhood borders a lot of the new growth heading to the west. No smoking No pets No parties or events Guest access Your family and friends will have the whole house to wonder and make memories, the only section blocked off for the owners is the garage space.
