This quaint farmhouse will be your home away from home. Enjoy the scenery and explore local attractions. The farm house is situated just feet from Joseph Preli Farm and Winery (also owners of the farmhouse) with its bountiful grapevines, fruits and vegetables. The farm and vineyard is known for it's old-world Italian charm. Family owned for 100 years, they respect history by using traditional farming methods and antique tractors. See updates about the farm and winery at @jprelifarm The space The farm house is charming, charismatic and minimal all at once. It is situated at the crest of the farm's gradual hill. The farm stand, winery, and owners' private home are a short walk from the bnb through the vineyard and fields connected by a rustic farm roadway. The farm house is private (only one quiet neighbor on the other side of a fence) and surrounded by peaceful woodlands, vineyards, and farm fields. South Glastonbury Village is a half mile away with a small grocery store, amazing coffee shop, and world class restaurants. Cotton Hollow nature preserve is right across the street. Notes on the house: - key pad entry - screened-in porch - compact convection oven - coffee room / workspace - large dining room that seats eight - living room seating for four people - three bedrooms are upstairs (two queen bedrooms, one full) - sitting room upstairs (with record player and daybed that can sleep one more person). - bathroom upstairs (it is small, fits one person at a time) - two AC units installed in windows (one upstairs, one downstairs). No central air. - compost, recycling and trash bins - access to TV streaming services (you must log into your subscriptions) - washer and dryer are in the unfinished basement (steep steps) - no dishwasher - security ring camera is on front door for safety Guest access You can access the entire house. Other things to note NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND NO PETS NO PARTIES THE HOUSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN & THOSE WITH MOBILITY CHALLENGES The stairs are steep due to the fact that this is an old house. QUIET HOURS BEGIN AT 10PM
