Cozy Cottonwood Heights Private Basement Apartment

Located at the bottom of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Our private, basement mother-in-law apartment is a great escape for anyone. Just a quick drive to 4, World Class Ski Resorts, 20 minutes from the airport and downtown Salt Lake. Whether you're here on vacation for some of the most amazing skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking or even here for work, we look forward to making this a great stay for you! The space This is a private mother-in-law apartment located in the lower level of our home. Fully furnished one bedroom (1 queen bed), living room area (queen memory foam pull out couch), kitchenette and one bathroom. Shared back yard and patio. Playground use is at own risk and liability. **PLEASE NOTE that our family lives upstairs, with two younger boys who may occasionally make noise. We want to be upfront about this so that you can make an informed decision before booking. However, we do our best to keep the noise to a minimum, especially during sleeping hours. We have two dogs. Porter is a black lab/blue healer mix and Bella is a little red pomeranian. They are very friendly and love to run around in the backyard and play. Please let us know if the dogs will be an issue and we will do our best to keep them out of your way as you come and go. We both work from home so we are easily available for any assistance. Guest access Street parking available. You can park right in front of our house! You can come and go as you please through a side gate (located east of the house) that leads into the backyard. There are stairs that lead down to your own entrance at the east end of the house with a key code. **Please be sure the gate closes and locks behind you as you come and go** You are welcome to use the backyard, playground, and patio. By booking this, you agree that any playground use is at your own risk and liability. Other things to note -We are an active household that live upstairs. You may hear us from time to time. We are usually up at 7 am and moving around the house. We do provide ear plugs if you are looking to sleep in. - We have two loving dogs. Porter is a very active and playful black lab/blue healer mix and Bella is our fluffy, little Pomeranian. Of course, they will want to greet you if they are out, playing in the back yard. If you would prefer no contact with the dogs, please let us know and we will do our best to keep them out of your entrance area. **Please be sure the side gate is closed at all times and locked** -You will have a secured Wi-Fi Guest access and password. -TV with access to Netflix, HULU, HBO, Primevideo. -The Kitchenette has a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, counter-top dual burner, toaster, oven-toaster, Keurig, basic kitchen supplies and cookware. Complimentary coffee and teas are provided. -We have a tankless hot water heater so please give it about 10 seconds to heat up. Never worry about running out of hot water though!! :)
