Casa Ramos Rural Accommodation

Traditional house from the 19th century. 19th century restored as accessible and sustainable rural accommodation. The house consists of two floors and a garden. It is located in the town center of Almenara de Tormes, 15 km from Salamanca, and 15 km from Ledesma. The ground floor is fully accessible for people with limited mobility. The space The house is built in stone and wood, elements that have been respected in its rehabilitation, maintaining the structure and character at all times. Its rustic-style decoration has been carefully taken care of, trying to ensure that our guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. It consists of a 100m2 open ground floor fully adapted for people with limited mobility. On the same floor there is a room with 2 adjustable 80 cm beds and a fully adapted bathroom (toilet, sink and shower) The first floor consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 with a 1.50 m bed, another with a 1.35 m bed and another with 2 beds of 90 cm, the latter in a loft, and two more full bathrooms. The living room and two of the bedrooms on the first floor have a wood-burning fireplace. All rooms have a TV, plus two others in the dining room and living room, the latter has a multimedia hard drive, blue-ray and sound bar. In the garden area there is a barbecue, sink with hot water, artificial grass area, aromatic plant garden and porch with garden furniture. In the summer season there is a removable pool. We have a plug for charging electric vehicles. The house is accessed from the street via a ramp or stairs. Guest access The house is located in the town's urban center, and within it, you can get around on foot, by bicycle, or by car. To load and unload luggage, you can put the car in the house's patio and park on the public street near it. Other things to note The house is located in Almenara de Tormes, a municipality 15 km from Salamanca, a World Heritage city, and 15 km from Ledesma, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain. The Villamayor and Zarapicos golf courses are a 15-minute drive away. In the same municipality you can visit the 12th century Romanesque church of Our Lady of the Assumption, one of the best preserved Romanesque jewels in the province of Salamanca. You can also visit the permanent exhibition Arte Emboscado (Ambushed Art) at the Tormes EB Foundation Environmental Initiatives Center and take a walking tour of the gravel pits recovered in the Tormes by the Foundation. To get there, you need to cross the Tormes by the Bailey bridge, one of the few still in use of this style in Spain, if not the only one.
