Come stay with us in our beautiful old mansion in Historic Hyde Park. Our home is cozy and stylish with big bright windows, beautiful hardwoods and super comfy bedrooms. The house is situated on a quiet one-way street with a gorgeous porch and beautiful trees. We are 5 minutes from Union Station, Crown Center, Children's Mercy Hospital, and the WWI Memorial. Crossroads Art District, The Kauffman Performing Arts Center, and T-Mobile Center are 10 minutes away. Your bedroom has one queen size bed, two chairs, and a dresser. There is also a spacious closet for your convenience. All our rooms have either overhead or portable fans. The bathroom is shared with guest/s from one other room next to yours. Our large dining/family room is available for eating, working and chatting with guests. Our kitchen is our private space but you are welcome to use the microwave and to store leftovers in the refrigerator. Your room is your private space while you are here. Your bathroom is shared. We're designers and consultants working in branding, marketing and coaching. We work remotely and facilitate workshops and retreats where people learn innovative ways to thrive. Lyn is also a Certified Spiritual Director and Enneagram Coach. The mansion is our home. We love having guests and enjoy creating an atmosphere where everyone can relax and 'be’. We're interested in all who come to stay. If you'd like to hang out with us a while, we'd enjoy sharing life with you. We have some great restaurants, cafés and bars within walking distance. We're minutes from Penn Valley Park and Liberty Memorial Park, both have great views over the downtown area. Behind our house is Main Street where there are two stops for the RideKC bus going north and south. The Streetcar will take you up to the Power and Light District and the River Market. There are sometimes a few Bird scooters in our area so Westport, the Plaza, Union Hill and Martini Corner are all within easy reach. We're centrally located making Uber and Lyft very accessible.
