Chiton Drift - the perfect beach getaway

Chiton Drift is a spacious holiday home, equipped with everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. It’s beautifully decorated in a casual, welcoming style. The beach is a short walk - just 250 metres away. There are sweeping views of the hills from the upstairs deck and living area. Stroll along the beach to Port Elliot. Or you can borrow our bikes and follow the Encounter Bike Way. Free wi-fi. The space Chiton Drift has two spacious open-plan living areas – one upstairs and one downstairs. It has a fabulous deck with uninterrupted views overlooking the ranges. The deck has a dining table and occasional chairs and is a wonderful place to have breakfast, enjoy a coffee with the paper or enjoy a drink before a bbq dinner. The kitchen, dining and main living areas are all upstairs to make the most of the wonderful views. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a dishwasher and walk-in pantry. There are 4 bedrooms allowing for up to 9 guests - main bedroom upstairs, 3 bedrooms downstairs. Bedrooms are configured as follows: Bedroom 1 - Queen bed Bedroom 2 - Queen bed Bedroom 3 – Two single beds Bedroom 4 - Treble bunk -double bed bottom, single bed on top As this is a beach house rental, sheets and linen are NOT included but we can arrange this for you for a small extra cost. Pillows and doonas ARE supplied. Chiton Drift has 3 modern bathrooms, two with showers. The main bathroom also has a bath. Plus there's a fun outdoor shower with hot and cold water - great after a day at the beach. The split system air conditioning system heats and cools both living areas and there's a ceiling fan in the main bedroom. There are two large flat screen smart TVs, one in each of the living areas, and free wi-fi means you can access your favourite on-demand tv shows. There are games, books and magazines and the upstairs sound system connects to your device via Bluetooth. There is a slate top pool table in the downstairs living area. The fully fenced and secure lawned backyard is ideal for the kids to run around. Guest access Guests have full use of the house including the pool table and the bikes. After you've booked, we'll be in touch to show you how to get the keys. Other things to note This is a holiday house, and while doonas, doona covers and pillows are included, guests need to supply their own linen: sheets, towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. HOWEVER, for guests who would like linen supplied, we will arrange fresh linen to be delivered for a fee. You just need to make up the beds on arrival. There is so much to do in Port Elliot and Victor Harbor. There are great coffee shops and restaurants. There are walking and cycling trails. There are swimming beaches and surfing beaches. At different times there's boat cruises, steam train rides, markets, events and festivals.
