Cosy Cotswolds Retreat near Bath

Welcome to 'Meadowside', a freshly decorated annex sited in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty/ tranquil hamlet. A great base for exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, Bath (20 min drive), Bristol (30 min drive) & Castle Combe (10 min drive). Close to the Roman Baths, Bath Therma Spa, Bath Racecourse, Dyrham Park, Westonburt Arboretum & Castle Combe Race Circuit. Private entrance & exclusive use of patio with seating/ view onto a meadow. The space Contemporary, stylish, eco friendly design. The cabin style space was very recently renovated (it used to be part of a stables) so everything feels lovely and fresh. Very light with bifold doors opening onto a grassy area on one side, and windows overlooking a meadow on the other side. Newly fitted toilet/ shower room. There's a small kitchenette for preparing basic dishes - with a microwave and 2 ring induction hob (and charcoal BBQ outside). For more elaborate meals there are some fantastic pubs, restaurants and tea rooms within a 10 minute drive or 20 minute bike ride (please see my guidebook for lots of ideas and recommendations). There's also a fridge with icebox (no freezer) and a well stocked village shop 5 minutes drive away to top up supplies. There is a sunny south facing patio area and garden for you to relax in. Solar panels and an air source heat pump keep guests cosy with minimal impact on the beautiful surroundings. Under floor heating throughout. Early check in/ late check out can often be accommodated free of charge- please ask and we will do our best. Please note our max occupancy is 2 people (unfortunately we cannot accomodate infants or children under 10) Guest access Easy onsite parking for up to 2 vehicles. Other things to note Due to the property’s peaceful and rural location it’s essential that guests have their own vehicle, as public transport and taxis are not easily available. We have a smart TV with all major streaming services for use with guests’ own login. Unfortunately we do not yet offer EV charging- we are working on it.
