The Lamplighter Bed & Breakfast is situated along Ludington Avenue, just five blocks from shopping, antiquing, restaurants, breweries, ice cream, and entertainment. Each of our five rooms or suites offers private baths. Enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in a queen or king-size bed framed in cherry, oak or antique brass. Relax in the jetted tub included in our Ansel Adams Suite. The brand-new private en suite bath in our Monet Room offers a custom tiled large, walk-in shower with a built-in seat. Enjoy a long soak delivered by a shower system which includes both a raincan shower head, as well as a handheld shower. Please note that LOCAL taxes and fees will be due upon arrival. The smallest of our rooms, it is tucked away on the Emily Street side of the house, away from the traffic noise of the Avenue. The bathroom in this room is quite spacious, making it a favorite room for some of our regular guests. This room offers a dresser for storage. Relax and read or catch-up on your favorite shows on the flat screen TV included in this peaceful and quaint retreat. Guest access Stay in touch with the outside world with complimentary WIFI, and cable channels on our flat screen TVs (in each room). A refrigerator with complimentary beverages, microwave, and freshly brewed coffee and tea are available 24/7, for all guests. Enjoy our newly remodeled dining space (with seating in front of the fireplace) and library, with access to books and games, as well as a 46" flat screen TV (cable). Enjoy Michigan's spring and summer seasons and wander outside to enjoy the beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. Read a book, have your morning coffee, or enjoy a glass of wine in our cozy gazebo. We enjoy serving breakfast on the deck or patio - weather permitting, of course! In the cooler months of Fall and Winter, start and end your day by relaxing in front of the fireplace in our parlor. During your stay We operate as a traditional bed and breakfast and live on-site. We will greet you at check-in, and our contact information is provided at that time so you'll always have a way to reach us! We'll also see you at breakfast each morning, as we prepare all meals here in-house, and personally serve our guests.
