This is a four season home. Enjoy our small ranch house with a walk out basement to bring you to the shoreline of Boom Lake, the heart of the Rhinelander Chain of Lakes (Boom, Bass, Thunder, Lake Creek, and Wisconsin River Flowage). It is considered one of the best fishing destinations in Northern Wisconsin. The surface water area is over 1700 acres with 35 miles of shoreline for boating, skiing, swimming, jet skiing, and fishing! The space Small house (1800 sq ft) but very cozy! Patio doors that offer beautiful views of the lake inside the house and also on the walk out deck. We have a great firepit area to sit back and relax after a fun day on the lake. There is a dock to fish off of, or pull the boat up to. Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 2 bathes, and laundry. Open concept living/kitchen. Master bed positioned on one side of the house, with the other two bedrooms on the other. 55 inch television with cable and fireplace located in the living room. Patio door that allows access to the deck, and gives a great view onto Boom Lake. Downstairs offers one large room. You will find pool table, bar style dart board, and foosball table. All are free to play. The second TV in the house in located there. 65 inch with cable TV. Couch and coffee table there to sit and watch. Also has a walkout patio door that exits to the fire place area. Fire pit/patio area has chairs to sit around the fire. We do have a poker, and few other fire tools that are found under the deck. We do our best to provide wood for the fire pit. UPDATES FOR UPCOMING SUMMER Aluminum steps for easier access to walk in to the lake. New larger aluminum dock for sitting area/bench. 32 ft in length with a L platform at the end. This is currently not shown in the photos as it won't be installed until the weather permits. Items to note since they are recurrent things: Yes the water has high iron concentration as all homes in the area do. The water passes the county inspection, but it does have a smell to it. If that is an issue you will need to bring some bottled water, or please don't book. The seating in the kitchen has 2 high top tables. We aren't putting in a standard kitchen table. There are 6 total chairs. 4 for one table, and 2 for other. We do understand that this may not be your choice of seating, but this is what we like with the lay out of the kitchen. Guest access Guest have access to the entire upstairs, and majority of the downstairs. We keep the utility room for furnace, water heater, etc locked, and another personal room also locked. Outside the guests have access to the entire property other than the garage. During summer/fall seasons, guests also have access to the dock on the lake. Boats, pontoons, and/or jet skis can be tied to the dock to park. Guests must provide proper restraints to hold it in at place, and assume any/all risk for parking it there. Off street parking is provided. Plenty of parking for a few vehicles, or boat trailer. Horseshoe driveway which offers ease of entry and exit. We may have to use the garage or the pontoon boat during your stay, We will inform you of this and let you know we will be using it. This should not interrupt your stay. Other things to note *Just to note, we do not allow pets through the rental but we do have dogs of our own that stay here occasionally. Coffee: we have a Keurig and supply a few k-cups for you to use. If you prefer a certain kind of coffee, please feel free to bring your own. Grill-(propane grill) We do supply general amenities. If you you prefer a certain kind of soap, please bring your own. We provide toilet paper, but only a few rolls. So if you run out in your short stay, you need to supply more yourself. Maintenance: During the busy season, we are booked. Problems arise and will be need to be worked on. This could be during your stay. We will keep you informed if maintenance needs to be done while you are there. This house, although very close to town, is in the country. What this means.... There is wildlife. Deer and rabbits have made their home in the woods behind the house. You may find evidence of them hanging around in the yard. This includes ants. We have Plunketts spray to rid of the ants but you may spot some inside the house. Iron in the water. We have a conditioning service on our well water but the water still stains our tubs, sinks and toilets. This property is located in a residential area. While you can have fun, and enjoy your stay, this is NOT a party house. If you have plans of coming just strictly to come to be obnoxiously drunk, and use inappropriate language, you will be told to leave. This is SMOKE FREE PROPERTY. This goes any type of smoking. If you are a smoker of any type, this is not the property for you. Our core guests do not want this, nor do our neighbors. If you choose to smoke at the property, you will subject to losing the full $500.00 security deposit. If we enter to the smell of smoke in the house, you will be charged. We respect your choice to smoke, however, we don't want it on our property. No exceptions.
