Guest access Our gîte Castagné is next door to our gîte Chez Sylvain, but each faces the opposite way to ensure privacy for all. The gardens of the gîtes are bordered by a huge field and are just a stone's throw from a river... the countryside as you'd imagine it! You will have access to the entire accommodation, comprising the ground, first and second floors. Of course, you'll also have access to the courtyard and gardens. Only the barns opposite the house are enclosed, and we use them for storage. A key will be hidden in a place that I will tell you about a few days before your arrival. You can usually arrive as early as midday and leave in the afternoon. At certain times of the year (from November to May), the meadow next to the house is home to ewes. A wonderful sight for young and old alike! If the weather is very hot, the ewes can attract flies, but normally the mosquito nets on the windows and doors ensure that they don't get inside the house.
