- A private, bright and spacious Cottage - perfect for a relaxing break and ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas. - Ideal base for touring: Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, Aran Islands, Cong, and Galway City. - Situated in a rural area, just 10 minutes drive from the city centre. - 3 minutes drive to local restaurants and shops. Galway City Centre (Eyre Square) is 5 miles (8km) away. - Galway Race Course (Ballybrit) is 3 miles (5km) away. The space - Spacious, peaceful, cosy, self contained Charming Irish Country Cottage. There is a large and comfortable open-plan living room / dining / kitchen area with all modern appliances and stone fireplace with multi fuel stove. Smart tv. -Two USB sockets located in living room to charge phone. - Kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge and hob. - Utility room with washing machine, dryer, freezer, microwave, iron and ironing board. - A welcome pack is provided. - There is a hair dryer in each bedroom. Bed linen and towels are included. - Downstairs is a kingsize (US queen) bedroom, and main bathroom with walk in shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Upstairs a kingsize (US queen) ensuite bedroom. - There is a garden to the side of the cottage with garden furniture and is surrounded by a hedge and enclosed with a gate. - The Cottage is located 5 miles (8km) north of Galway City centre. - The property can sleep 4 pac maximum. - No pets allowed. - Not suitable for young children as bedrooms are not located on the same floor. There are no facilities for infants/young children at the Cottage. Guest access - Entire space. Own private entrance and parking to property . Other things to note - There is a side walk/footpath to the local village which is 1 mile (2km) away. It has a pub, two hotels, two cafés, three supermarkets, a church, post office and a number of shops. - A Medieval Franciscan Friary in Claregalway Village. Claregalway Museum and Blacksmith Forge: Open Wed - Sat 10am - 4pm 15th Century Claregalway Castle: Open Thurs - Sun, May - Sept 12pm - 4pm - Oranmore Village is a short drive away. With its 15th Century castle and beautiful walks in Renville Park which is 3.5 km from the village of Oranmore. - Cregboy Golf Academy a stroll away. - As the Cottage is in a rural area, a car is recommended for getting around.
